Dr. Chennithala Krishnan Nair is a literature, preceptor and a good social and cultural patron. He was the professor and Head of the department of Hindi in N.S.S. Hindu College, Changanacherry. He is post graduated in Malayalam and Hindi and possessed Phd from Sagar University for his thesis, “Comparitive study of Hindi-Malayalam poetry”. He has written some books in Malayalam and Hindi and published a bunch of articles, criticisms and essays in periodicals which all were informative and educative. He is enthusiastic too in the socio-religious, spiritual and culturel activities. He was the governing body member of Chennithala Chellappan Pillai Memorial Kathakali Study Centre. President of Local temple committee; N.S.S. Karayogam and Service Co-operative society.
He was born to Alackal Ramakrishna Pillai and Kalarickal Janakiamma in 30th October 1926. After schooling at local schools, in 1944 he passed Sasthri examination and graduated from Trivandrum Sanskrit College in 1956. Post graduated in Hindi from Banarus Hindu University in 1958. He obtained M.A. Malayalam from Kerala University in 1962. Entered in teaching profession on 1958 at N.S.S. Hindu College, Changanacherry. Married from Vazhappally on 1956. Ratnakumari-Krishna buildings, Vazhappally is his life partner. These couples have four children. V.K. Rajeevan (Secretary, Agricultural Development Bank, Mavelikkara), V.K. Sajeevan (Development Officer General Insurance-Mavelikkara), Dr. V.K. Jagajeevan (Msc. Physics, Msc. Lib. Science, M.Tech. Librarian, IGNOU), V.K. Renjeev (Msc. Statistics, Msc. Lib. Science, Local fund auditor), Subhadramma is his only sister. He is excellent even at this age of 81.
